| Zusammenfassung: | Please join us for the 136th annual meeting of American Ornithology and the second annual meeting of the American Ornithological Society, to be held in Tucson, Arizona, 9-14 April 2018. Following our long legacy, this meeting once again will offer a great opportunity for sharing and discussing scientific research in all areas involving birds. The meeting will place special emphasis on research and conservation focused on our 2018 meeting theme of Celebrating Connections: Birds Across Borders. We envision a broad discussion of research that spans the breadth of modern ornithology through symposia, workshops, and contributed papers and posters. In addition to several exciting plenary presentations and other meeting highlights, you won’t want to miss The meeting of the American Ornithological Society will be held at the Hilton El Conquistador hotel in Tucson, Arizona, from April 9 - 14, 2018. Details forthcoming and can be found on the official meeting website. The timing of the meeting, early April, is perfect for viewing the peak of spring migration through the southwest desert, riparian and forest habitats, and we have several exciting field trips planned.
