| Zusammenfassung: | The theme of the meeting is “The Next Generation in Best Practices.” This broad theme is intended to reflect the core aim of SPNHC to codify and disseminate best practices for the development, management, and care of natural history collections and their associated data. A number of workshop opportunities will be featured on June 18 and 19. Those currently in development include care of historic mammalian taxidermy, disaster preparedness, natural history biodiversity informatics, and a directors’ summit on digital data. A variety of interesting and engaging speakers are being lined up for the plenary session on June 20. The goal for the technical sessions on June 21 and 22 is to highlight best practices, new solutions, and the use of technology as it relates to the session themes. [Information of the supplier] |
