Zusammenfassung: Please join us for the inaugural meeting of the newly formed American Ornithological Society and the Society of Canadian Ornithologists/Société des ornithologists du Canada! This joint meeting will offer a great opportunity for sharing and discussing scientific research in all areas involving birds, including research focused on our meeting’s theme of Birds in the Anthropocene. A major challenge is to understand how individuals, populations and communities respond to novel environments and what conservation strategies to implement in a rapidly evolving world.
