| Zusammenfassung: | The North-West European Section of the IUSSI and The Centre of Excellence in Biological Interactions at the University of Helsinki are delighted to invite you to join us at the Union’s 6th European meeting to be held 8-11.8 2016 in Helsinki, Finland. The conference will be held at the Helsinki University main campus in the city center. The main buildings are from the Czar period with typical Russian architecture from the late 19th century, whereas the conference site Porthania next door, represents the essence of late 60’s Finnish architecture. Within a 5min walk from the conference location you will find a bustling seaside market place, complete with small snack stands selling smoked herring, and hungry gulls. A good selection of hotels, backpacker hostels and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are within easy reach of the conference location. Helsinki is also among the safest cities in the world – recent empirical experiments report that over 90% of wallets dropped in the street will be returned to the rightful owner – including the money and credit cards.
