Every three years since 1981 the World Association of Copepodologists (WAC) holds an international conference called the International Conference on Copepoda or the “ICOC.” These have become the most important global gatherings for all researchers and students of copepods. Each conference gives participants the chance to meet fellow researchers, talk with students and experts, borrow material and plan collaborations. Each meeting is unique, teeming with the individuality and culture of the host nation. The ... [Information of the supplier]

[Editorial staff vifabio]

Assembling the Tree of Life (AToL) is a large research effort sponsored by the National Science Foundation. Its goal is to reconstruct the evolutionary origins of all living things. This AToL: Decapoda project is aimed at clarifying the evolutionary history of the decapods (both fossil and extant), including the shrimp, crabs, crayfish, and lobsters. Our group is comprised of five principal investigators and a host of other collaborators at multiple institutions across the globe. [Information of the supplier]

Crustacea.net is a website which publishes electronic monographs (interactive identification and information retrieval systems) on crustaceans at any taxonomic level. These monographs are prepared using the DELTA system and include illustrated, interactive keys to each group, plus diagnoses, descriptions and illustrations of each taxon in the group. This is a database of systematic literature on the Decapoda, compiled by the Assembling the Tree of Life: Decapoda project. You can search references online, or download the entire library as an Endnote-compatible reference library. In many cases, we are able to make the full text of the papers available as PDF files. The online references search will also give information on PDF availability. [Information of the supplier]

... [Editorial staff vifabio]
