Since 1943 the Bibliography of Systematic Mycology (BSM) has provided a survey of the literature encompassing the biodiversity, classification, distribution, evolution, identification, nomenclature, phylogeny, systematics and taxonomy of fungi (including those groups traditionally treated as fungi but now better classified in other kingdoms). The printed BSM provides full bibliographic details of relevant literature from books, conference proceedings, monographs and serials arranged under broad taxonomic ... [Information of the supplier]

CGD is an organized collection of genetic and molecular biological information about Candida albicans, a yeast that is an opportunistic pathogen of humans. It contains information about Candida albicans genes and proteins; descriptions and classifications of their biological roles, molecular functions, and subcellular localizations; gene, protein, and chromosome sequence information; tools for analysis and comparison of sequences; and links to literature information. The CGD Home page is the main ... [Information of the supplier]

The Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) - an institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and situated in Utrecht - maintains a world-renowned collection of living filamentous fungi, yeasts and bacteria.
The value of a collection depends not only on the quality of the strains, but equally on the amount and accuracy of the data attached to them. Although there are considerable differences among the various taxonomic groups, efforts are taken to increase the amount ... [Information of the supplier]

Here you will find information on members of the orders Chytridiales (sensu Barr) and Spizellomycetales in the class Chytridiomycetes (Kingdom Fungi), including a description of genera, tips and techniques on how to isolate chytrids, current hypotheses of chytrid systematics (includes both taxonomy and phylogeny), links to other relevant websites, and a searchable reference database. The goal of this site is to provide an online resource for students, teachers, and researchers wanting to learn more ... [Information of the supplier]

The MIPS Comprehensive Yeast Genome Database (CYGD) aims to present information on the molecular structure and functional network of the entirely sequenced, well-studied model eukaryote, the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In addition the data of various projects on related yeasts are used for comparative analysis. [Information of the supplier]

The Cornell Plant Pathology Herbarium (CUP) is a large research collection of preserved fungi and other organisms that cause plant diseases. CUP is the fourth or fifth largest mycological herbarium in North America. We hold about 400,000 fungus and plant disease specimens, including over 7000 type specimens, each the first of its kind to be described and named. The CUP Photograph Collection includes about 60,000 historical scientific photographs of mushrooms, agricultural practices, plant diseases, ... [Information of the supplier]

The Cornell Plant Pathology Herbarium (CUP) is home to several major photograph collections, together amounting to over 60,000 prints and negatives. A small fraction of our photos have been digitized and can be viewed through this site. Our collections document the last 120 years of plant pathology, mycology, and agricultural practice. Many photographs are tied to specimens in our specimen collection, making them uniquely useful for biological research. [Information of the supplier]

Mycological literature is extensive, diverse and often dispersed. The objective of this website is to facilitate access to that literature by providing bibliographic lists of references. The present version of the site provides extensive bibliographic information for mycological publications, most dating from the early 1800s to the 1980s, and covering many works in Russian and Ukrainian. As such, it complements other mycological bibliographic sources on the internet, which concentrate on recent literature ... [Information of the supplier]
