Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the IPCAT conference series, IPCAT 2015 aims to bring together researchers from the biological, physical, computational and mathematical sciences who have a common interest in the nature of biological information processing. We welcome both those who are interested in understanding biological systems and those who are interested in applying biological principles within artificial systems. This year's conference will take place in the biomedical hub city of San Diego, California. ... [Information of the supplier]
Phycologists and others interested in the algae from throughout the world are invited to participate in the 10th International Phycological Congress (IPC 10) in Orlando, Florida, 4 (Sunday) - 10 (Saturday) August 2013. This Congress continues in a tradition that began in 1982 at the first IPC in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada. The overarching theme of IPC 10, Algae in a Changing World, recognizes the important roles of algae in a world where environmental changes are rapidly accelerating. Ultimate sponsorship of these Congresses is provided by the International Phycological Society (IPS). Societies other than the IPS have met in conjunction with most IPCs to date. The Phycological Society of America (PSA; http://www.psaalgae.org/) has committed to meet in conjunction with IPC 10. We welcome other phycological societies interested in meeting under the auspices of the IPC in 2013 to contact one of the conveners. ... [Information of the supplier]
In 2018, International Society for Plant Pathology will celebrate its 50th anniversary and will hold its 11th Congress in historic Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America July 29 through August 3. ISPP promotes the worldwide development of plant pathology, and the dissemination of knowledge about plant diseases and plant health management. The society sponsors the International Congress of Plant Pathology (ICPP) at regular intervals. ISPP and APS look forward to welcoming you to Boston in 2018 and celebrating its 50th anniversary! Boston is the perfect city to host ISPP and the 11th ICPP, as America’s beginnings sprouted from this city! The history of plant pathology in the U.S., as throughout the world, is the story of agriculture. Cultivation in the Americas started with over 60 million Native Americans making use of the bounty of the land and practicing agriculture and farming for at least 10,000 years. America’s agricultural story is the world’s story as well – it’s a story of immigrants traveling to new lands, incorporating new people, new crops, and new diseases. It’s the story of people coming together to discover solutions to society’s most pressing issues. The ICPP 2018, organized by the American Phytopathological Society (APS), will be a global summit of leading scientists focused on the sustainable production and protection of plants. The theme of the meeting will be, “Plant Health in A Global Economy,” and presentations will cover the full range of research topics from genomics to epidemiology, which affect plant health at a local and global scale. ... Every three years since 1981 the World Association of Copepodologists (WAC) holds an international conference called the International Conference on Copepoda or the “ICOC.” These have become the most important global gatherings for all researchers and students of copepods. Each conference gives participants the chance to meet fellow researchers, talk with students and experts, borrow material and plan collaborations. Each meeting is unique, teeming with the individuality and culture of the host nation. The next ICOC will be in 2017 in Los Angeles, CA, USA at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and DoubleTree Hotel in San Pedro. We are expecting 250 attendees from all over the world. ...
