The countrywide Natura 2000 area database offers search possibilities in the Natura 2000 areas in Germany and provides information about their protected resources. Precise area information can be accessed separately for bird protection, and flora and fauna habitat areas (FFH areas) by area number, area size, the occurrence of habitat types and Appendix II species or bird species (Appendix I and migratory-bird species) as well as an area description. The area selection is made through the choice of one or more Federal States. By clicking on the area number you obtain the appropriate area profile. Inside the area profile you obtain a habitat profile by clicking on a habitat code. Input of the whole or part of an area name gives you a further selection possibility on the start page of the bird protection or FFH areas. All statements are taken from the German standard data sheet submitted to the EU. ... [Information of the supplier, translated]
The Bildatlas der Moose is a collection of plates of all mosses growing in Germany, composed of a habitus image, in most cases photographed at the growth site, and besides close-ups and photomicrographs of all details necessary for determination. If not stated otherwise, all photography, layout and typeset is by Michael Lueth himself. Since the plates, similar to a combined collection of exsiccata and permanent slides, are intended as a complement to existing guides, text was considered dispensible. ... ... [Information des Anbieters]
FloraWeb is the online offering of the Federal Agency for Nature Protection (BfN) concerning wild plant species, plant communities, and the natural vegetation of Germany. At present the species selection is restricted to ferns and flowering plants (phanerogams), the extension to mosses (bryophytes) is planned. The entries come from current, actualised databases and projects of the BfN and its co-operating partners (see below) and thus are available to the public in their current form. Under the menu point “Plant species” ("Pflanzenarten") ca. 3500 species profiles with up to 55 individual items of information about taxonomy, biology, ecology, habitat, distribution, and inventory situation, endangerment and protection, as well as photos, can be accessed that are generated at the current time by means of dynamic accessing the underlying databases. The species descriptions can be accessed by name, by alphabetical name lists, or a systematic family tree. Information about distributions in Germany is available through dynamically prepared maps and the interactive GIS application FloraMap. In the sub-menu point “Properties” ("Suche nach Eigenschaften") all individual information items in searches can be freely combined. Again, the resulting species lists can be transferred to the map module FloraMap where one then has the possibility of displaying the spatial distribution of these groups of species in Germany. Under the menu point “Associations” ("Gesellschaften"), the likewise collected information about plant communities and their regional endangerment in Germany is stored in the profiles. These profiles of the vegetation units are extended through a database of phytosociological records under the name “VegetWeb”, which is to be continuously expanded. Under the menu point “Vegetation map” the units of the potential natural vegetation of Germany are displayed in profiles, with text explanations and photos, that will be expanded through the map display dynamically linked to the profiles. The data-offering thus defined in the area “Data service” will be expanded in “InformationsNetz” with explanations of the botanical connections and further information about the data sources. ... ... The aim of naturgucker.de is to publish in a central location, and for the first time make publicly available, the hundreds of thousands of observations of nature made every year by thousands of naturalists, which have, until now, in many cases remained unused in private archives. Publish your observations of nature here and thereby give nature protection more material with which to argue. ... [Information of the supplier, translated]

... [Information des Anbieters]
