The 8th edition of the BeNeLux Bioinformatics Conference will be held in Brussels (Belgium) on December 9-10, 2013. The conference is organised by the Université Libre de Bruxelles and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which have recently joined their efforts in the bioinformatics field with the creation of the Interuniversity Institute of Bioinformatics in Brussels (IB). The BeNeLux Bioinformatics Conference is an annual conference that started in 2005, bringing together researchers from the Benelux and beyond to strengthen national and international connections in all fields of bioinformatics. The exchange will focus on advances in bioinformatics and applications in the areas of methodology development, biotechnology, and health.
