On behalf of the local organizing committee, I cordially like to invite you to the “XVII International Symposium on Iron Nutrition and Interactions in Plants” in frame of the "12th Gatersleben Research Conference" to be held at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research in Gatersleben, Germany, during 6 - 10 July 2014. It is a great honour for us to host this symposium in Gatersleben and we hope that an exciting scientific program and the history and natural beauty of the Harz mountain region will combine to make this a fruitful and memorable event.
