As Chairs of the Local and International Organizing Committees of the Plant Oxygen Group (POG) of Society for Free Radical Research-Europe (SFRR-E), we are delighted to invite you to attend the 11th International Conference on Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species in Plants. The conference will be held on July 17-19th, 2013, at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW (WULS-SGGW) in Poland. The Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW is the largest agricultural university in Poland. Its almost 200-years academic tradition and youthful charm along with the historic and modern buildings set in the greenery create one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Warsaw is the capital and the largest city of Poland. The Royal Castle in The Old Town and many other notable buildings are symbols of its long and rich history. The Local and International Organizing Committees will do its best to make the conference scientifically valuable and socially enjoyable. We are looking forward to seeing you in Warsaw 2013! ... The “Yeast Lipid Conference” (YLC) is an international scientific meeting held every second year (typically in late May) to promote free discussion between scientists working on or interested in all aspects of yeast lipids. The 12th edition of YLC will be held in Ghent, Belgium from the 20th till the 22nd of May 2015. It will start on Wednesday afternoon with registration followed by the opening lecture, and an evening reception. The following two days will be seminars by invited guests with some speakers chosen from submitted abstracts, poster sessions, and social events. This is the first time the conference will be hosted in Belgium and we are pleased that Ghent will be the location for this. All lectures will take place at the Faculty of Bio-Science engineering at Ghent University, which is located at walking distance from the historical city centre of Ghent. It is worth spending time before or after the meeting to discover this sparkling city and visit other points of interest in Belgium. ... [Information of the supplier]
On behalf of the Plant Oxygen Group, the Local Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to attend the “12th International Conference on Reactive Oxygen and Nitrogen Species in Plants: from model systems to field” which will be held in Verona, Italy on June 24th-26th 2015. The Plant Oxygen Group (POG) Conference, supported by the Society for Free Radical Research (SFRR-Europe), is a great forum for discussion and for the effective exchange of information and ideas on every aspect regarding reactive oxygen and nitrogen species metabolism, action and signaling in plants. The Conference aims also to provide a dynamic interface between academic research and field applications, and represents an important opportunity for everyone in the field, especially promoting early career scientist participation. The scientific program will include several oral communications by young promising scientists - selected from abstracts- next to lectures by top scientists, facilitating discussion among participants in a friendly and stimulating environment. ... The EMBO conference ‘The nitrogen nutrition of plants - Nitrogen2016’ will be the third international symposium on the nitrogen nutrition of plants, following Nitrogen2013 in Puerto Varas (Chile) and Nitrogen2010 in Inuyama-city (Japan) and the founder meeting Nitrogen2007 in Lancaster (UK). At a time when improved nitrogen use efficiency by crops is clearly identified as a major issue for sustainable agriculture, the main objective of this conference will be to review recent progress in the understanding of molecular, physiological and developmental processes involved in the nitrogen nutrition of plants. Nitrogen2016 will also aim at fostering exchanges and collaborations within the rapidly expanding scientific community interested in these topics. ... [Information of the supplier]

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is more and more acknowledged as one of the central small molecules that connects cellular metabolism with signaling mechanisms, biological regulation and human disease. This is an outstanding scientific conference covering the diverse roles of NAD and its derivatives in metabolism and cellular signaling. Six sessions are devoted to NAD-dependent enzymes and their roles in metabolism and physiology, in regulating chromatin and transcription, in genome integrity, and in cancer and other diseases. Signaling mechanisms involving NAD-derived second messengers as well as poly- and mono-ADP-ribosylation combined with chemical biology of NAD will complete the program. A main aspect of this conference will be to foster exchange of information and technology between researchers working on the biochemical, molecular, genetic and cell biological aspects of NAD and related molecules. Moreover, the conference will provide a unique venue for those researchers worldwide who are interested in the basic and translational aspects of NAD metabolism and signaling. ...
