The Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Novosibirsk, Russia, will arrange the 9th International Conference on the Bioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure\Systems Biology (BGRS\SB-2014). These regular conferences have been run since 1998. The young scientists' school “Bioinformatics and Systems Biology” will be arranged as part of the conference. Bioinformatics is a rapidly developing field of knowledge. Each of the past BGRS conferences concerned topics urgent at those times. To preserve this tradition, the BGRS-2014 conference will be dedicated to bioinformatics and systems biology. ... [Information of the supplier]

Over the last decade, the research field of metaproteomics has emerged to an indispensable tool in microbial ecology to identify the link between community composition and functional profile. The progress of this area is driven by technical developments in mass spectrometry and various DNA shotgun sequencing projects of environmental samples. The complexity of the samples and the non-trivial data analysis, however, represent serious challenges that hinder the whole field of metaproteomic research from moving forward and to tackle challenging research topics, e.g. in environmental or health sciences. In order to promote the scientific exchange in the community, this symposium covers the most important topics of metaproteomics. It is directed towards Postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and other scientists with experience in related fields of microbiology who want to discover techniques of proteomic analysis. On the computational side, a half-day hands-on workshop is offered with guided tutorials for the MetaProteomeAnalyzer (MPA) data analysis software. The following topics will be covered during the Metaproteomics Symposium: Proteomics Workflow, Medical Applications, Environmental and Technical Applications, Bioinformatics and Modelling, Proteomics and Multi-Omics. ... It is our great pleasure to announce the EuPA 2016 – X Annual Congress of the European Proteomics Association which will take place in Istanbul, 21-25 June 2016 at the Acıbadem University Conference Center, organized by Turkish Proteomics Association. We are happy to invite you to Istanbul / Turkey during a wonderful season where we aim to bring in the highest attendance to EuPA annual standalone congresses. In order to achieve this goal, the scientific committee is working hard on the congress program to bring in the most valuable speakers. Follow the speakers and program section of the website for regularly updated information. The social program will offer a unique Bosphorus Cruise Dinner, where you will enjoy the magnificent view of the sunset at the Bosphorus separating Europe from Asia, along with exquisite samples of Turkish Cuisine. There are numerous historic sites in Istanbul and wonderful locations for vacation in Turkey, so if you have not visited Turkey before we highly recommend to take a week off and wander the south of Turkey after the congress. EuPA 2016 Istanbul will be a refreshing event, where world renowned scientists, colleagues, friends, and industry representatives will find the opportunity to share the most up to date knowledge and network in a unique setting. We are looking forward to welcoming our community in Istanbul and experience a congress to remember. ... [Information of the supplier]
In the 50 years since RNA was identified as a central component in the flow of genetic information, it has become increasingly clear that RNA is more than a mere messenger and performs many diverse and interesting functions. This symposium will explore the diverse, dynamic and multifaceted roles of RNA across a spectrum of cellular processes. Yet, framed in interdisciplinary discussion of the roles of non-coding RNAs with the aim of enhancing our understanding of gene regulation and function. Topics will include recent discoveries in the fields of prokaryotic and eukaryotic long and short non-coding RNAs. Collectively aiming to further understand the noncoding RNA transcriptional and regulatory landscape. ... [Information of the supplier, modified]
We are happy to announce that 2013 is the 10 year anniversary of DNA barcoding and we plan to celebrate this milestone in Kunming, China. The Chinese Academy of Sciences’ and Kunming Institute of Botany are pleased to be hosting this year’s conference. The conference will consist of four days of plenary and parallel sessions. Preconference events, such as discussion meetings focusing on advances in sequencing and informatics techniques will be held on the Sunday before the conference. There is also a Training Course associated with the conference (max 30 delegates). Past conferences have brought together participants from over 60 countries, including researchers, students, government officials, and representatives of NGOs and private companies. This year’s conference hosts, the Chinese Academy of Science and Kunming Institute of Botany, have provided a venue that hosts up to 500 participants. ... [Information of the supplier]
Synthetic biology has gained much attention since Craig Venter and his team in 2010 made the historic announcement of the creation of first fully functioning, reproducing cell controlled by synthetic DNA. The 2013 NCMLS New Frontiers symposium - a joint venture between the Radboud University Medical & Science faculties - will feature international keynote speakers as well as NCMLS top researchers, who will provide high-quality presentations on current achievements and challenges ahead in our quest to understanding the chemistry and biology of life. ... The Scientific Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the 6th International Barcode of Life Conference will be held from August 18 – 21, 2015 at the University of Guelph, one of Canada’s major life science universities. Guelph couples easy access to a major airport with the simple logistics of a small Canadian city, ensuring that conference participants will be able to focus on science. Since 2003, DNA barcoding has become the largest research program in biodiversity science, one examining all eukaryote kingdoms and spanning many nations. Reflecting the scope of the program, numerous major international collaborative projects are underway. The 6th Conference will sustain traditions established by the five earlier conferences; it will showcase the latest scientific achievements and socio-economic implications of work conducted by the DNA barcode research community. The theme of the 6th Conference, Barcodes to Biomes, signals the ongoing expansion of our community’s research agenda from studies on particular sets of species in particular places to work which is creating the capability to examine entire biotic assembles at local and global scales. ...
