| Abstract: | Warm welcome to the website of BPS 2017 the 65th Annual meeting of the British Phycological Society. This meeting marks a return to the Winter programme and will be hosted by the School of Ocean Sciences at Bangor University. Based in the town of Menai Bridge since the 1950's, the School has a long history of marine research, including various elements of phycological science. With a beautiful and diverse coastline on the Isle of Anglesey, we hope that you will enjoy the meeting, and take part in some interesting activities that will be running during the meeting. The meeting is open to all students, professionals and everyone else interested in the field of phycology.
