Abstract: You are kindly invited to the 22nd International Seaweed Symposium (ISS) taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark, June 19-24, 2016. Members of the National Organizing Committee (NOC; from the Seaweed Network in Denmark), the International Seaweed Association (ISA) and the host university National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Food) are looking forward to welcome you. The International Seaweed Symposium is held every third year. This 22nd ISS in Copenhagen will continue to be the leading global forum for researchers, industrial companies and regulators involved in the seaweed sector. The programme will include all aspects of modern and traditional seaweed research and applications with the symposium title: Creating the scientific platform for sustainable and innovative industries for the future society. The venue is located at Hotel Scandic Copenhagen in the very center of the beautiful visitor-friendly Copenhagen, with everything reachable by walking or short public transportation. Copenhagen is an old maritime city with the oldest monarchy in the world. There are plenty of tourist attractions as museums, architectures, parks, and royal buildings. ISS in 2016 takes place in June and summer is the perfect time of year to visit Copenhagen. It never really goes dark and dusk does not set in until late evening. [Information of the supplier]
