Abstract: The Eighth International Conference on Mycorrhiza (ICOM8) seeks to stimulate a productive exchange of information and ideas among mycorrhizal researchers from around the world, including physiologists, geneticists, taxonomists, ecologists, inoculum producers, and land managers. Conference sessions will be designed to find common interests and cut across traditional hierarchical divisions of science. The International Mycorrhiza Society selected Northern Arizona University to host ICOM8, which will take place at the university’s High Country Conference Center, Flagstaff, Arizona, USA. The International Mycorrhiza Society is a scientific organization that advances education, research, and development in the area of mycorrhizal symbiosis between plants and soil fungi.
