Abstract: Flora de Guinea Ecuatorial is a research project, which is coordinated by the Real Jardin Botanico de Madrid. From 1986 to 2001, the Spanish Agency has funded an intensive field work in Bioko and Río Muni for international development cooperation. The result is more than 20,000 Herbarium Specimens and a database of more than 56,000 records from the literature. In 1998, we set a goal to create a modern Flora detection for Guinea. This site aims to be a virtual area of work and discussion for anyone interested in botany of the central African country. We are aware that this project requires the cooperation of botanists of various nationalities. Any help is appreciated. [Information of the supplier, translated]
