| Abstract: | The 5th Central European Workshop of Myrmecology will be held in Innsbruck in September 2013. The aim of the meeting is to catalyse highly focused communication among ant researchers in an intimate atmosphere. The meeting is open to all topics of myrmecology including population biology, ecology, behaviour, cognition and learning, social organisation, biogeography and faunistics, conservation biology, taxonomy and phylogeny. The techniques presented will range from microscopy to ecological-niche modeling and from behavioural and chemical-ecological assays to molecular genetics and genomics.
