Abstract: The Conference is the 16th in the series of the international meetings held every three years within the International Bryozoology Association (IBA). It is expected to be attended by a large number of IBA members as well as by all people interested in bryozoology and any related topic. Several disciplines are involved in the fields of biology, palaeontology, taxonomy, ecology and palaeoecology, carbonate production, global change, ocean acidification, physiology, parasitology, and even medicine. This is the second time that Italy hosts an IBA Conference, after the first one organised by Enrico Annoscia in 1968 in San Donato Milanese. The International Bryozoology Association was established by a small group back in 1965 within an informal meeting in Stockholm, to encourage research and promote exchange of ideas on the Bryozoa. The association presently brings together nearly 200 researchers of everything to do with Bryozoans, from over 40 countries across the globe. [Information of the supplier]
