Title: Polish Dendrology Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Dendrologiczne)
Creator: Borowski, Jacek [chairman]; et al.
Abstract: The Polskie Towarzystwo Dendrologiczne (PTD) was formed in Lwów in 1924. The aim of the Polish Dendrology Society is to bring together people interested in dendrology, and to deepen their knowledge of the biology, ecology and the cultivation of woody plants. The society also plans to initiate and lead scientific research on the subject. We welcome all those interested in trees not only professionals but also enthusiastic amateurs, and those who are in some way involved in trees and shrubs including their conservation, commercial and cultural uses. The Yearbook is a publication of original, unpublished and externally reviewed articles on dendrological matters in the widest sense of the word, as well as monographic work in either Polish or English.
