Abstract: The Scoietà Entomologica Italiana was founded in 1869 and is one of the oldest scientific associations worldwide. Two periodicals are published by the society: Bollettino della Scoietà Entomologica Italiana and Memorie della Scoietà Entomologica Italiana .
