Abstract: This Museum was founded in 1946 and named after Richard M. Bohart in 1983. In over fifty years of his career, he contributed significantly to entomological research. Therefore, insects are the research object of this institution. The seventh largest insects collection (more than seven million specimens) is hosted here. The collection is of worldwide relevance. Furthermore, several projects are realized and diverse information are provided in connection to the specialisation of the museum. Many information (e.g. keys) are available for free.
