Abstract: This privare web site is dedicated to the ant-loving crickets (Myrmecophilidae, Orthoptera). These crickets are just a few millimetres long, and live in ant and more rarely in termite nests. They are nearly worldwide distributed and populate different habitats. An overview of all known species gives the checklist. There are also descriptions of the single species with notes on characteristics, ecology and distribution. Additionally a summary of the relevant literature on this topic is available. [Information of the supplier, translated and modified]
