Abstract: The Entomological Society of Victoria is an Australian, non-profit scientific society which welcomes professional, amateur and student entomologists as members. The Society can trace its origins back to April 1927 where The Entomological Club was formed. It was renamed to The Entomological Society of Victoria in 1935. The society produces the bulletin the Victorian Entomologist. On the web site are a short characterization of the major insect groups and a list of all recorded butterflies of Victoria.
