This blog is an outcome of the community round-table discussion hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder on September 17, 2010. Meeting hosts Patrick Kociolek and Robert Guralnick, both of the CU Museum of Natural History have agreed to continue the round-table discussion, here on this blog. Technical support is provided by David Bloom from VertNet. [Information of the supplier] The program titled "Advancing Digitization of Biological Collections (ADBC)" seeks to create a national resource of digital data documenting existing biological collections and to advance scientific knowledge by improving access to digitized information (including images) residing in vouchered scientific collections across the United States. |
