Abstract: This private web site is dedicated to the Birdwing Butterflies (family Papilionidae, tribe Troidini). The Birdwings occur from Sri Lanka and India in the west to China and Taiwan in the north-east and Australia in the south. The highest number of species is found in the Indonesian archipelago and New Guinea. This web site covers all 33 species recognized by this author. All species and subspecies are imaged. The photo gallery also includes numerous forms and aberrations and gives to each image a brief description of the collecting locality of the specimen.
