| Abstract: | Polish Entomological Union (PEU; Polish: Polski Związek Entomologiczny) was founded in Lwów in 1923. From the very beginning of its existence the aim of the PEU was: a thorough research work, i.e. taxonomy, biology, applied entomology, etc., on insects, especially those living in Poland, and publishing own publications. In September 1965 the hitherto existing name (PEU) was changed to that of the Polish Entomological Society (PES; Polish: Polskie Towarzystwo Entomologiczne). The English version of the website provides a short summary about the history of the PES, the Governing Board and publications, published by PES. Table of contents of the Polish Journal of Entomology (Polish: Polskie Pismo Entomologiczne) from 1993 till 2010 are available. All papers from 2006 till 2010 and some keys for Identification (in Polish) are downloadable as PDF-files (September 2010). [Information of the supplier, modified] |
