| Abstract: | The following summary, adopted from "A checklist of familial and suprafamilial names for extant vascular plants" (Phytotaxa 6: 1-402. 2010) is updated and augmented by names at the ranks of suborder, subfamily, tribe and subtribe published from 1 Jan 1900 onward. The names at these ranks published from 1900 onward should be used with caution as authorships and places of publication may well change as the literature is reviewed. Information about such names from this era would be appreciated and ideally that information should include places of publication and if rare or uncommon, a copy of the paper would be helpful.
