| Abstract: | This website is dedicated to the study of mayflies (Ephemeroptera) in the British Isles. You will find information on collecting and identifying British Ephemeroptera, together with information on the distribution, habitats and ecology of some of the 51 species know from the British Isles. The Ephemeroptera Recording Scheme was set up under the auspices of the Biological Records Centre. The aim of the recording scheme is to collect records of Ephemeroptera species throughout the British Isles. This will ultimately lead to the publication of an atlas of British Ephemeroptera.
