Abstract: The website of the Global Ant Project (GAP) provides resources and tools for the study of ants (Formicidae). A list of 960 World Ant Taxonomists is available and on each myrmecologist's web page the authors added an image if available, a brief biographical note, a brief summary of their ant taxonomic contributions and a list of their ant taxonomic publications. 4,000 of these publications are downloadable as PDF documents (August 2010). Furthermore the website’s authors developed an interactive key of the ant genera of the world. [Information of the supplier, modified]
