Abstract: From 1958 to 1999, Seewiesen was the site of the Max Planck Institute for Behavioural Physiology and was the workplace of Nobel Prize winner Konrad Lorenz for many decades. Since March 2004, Seewiesen is home to the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology.
