Abstract: The area of the Alpes Maritimes in the sense of this resource encompasses not only the Ligurian Alps as far as the line Albegna – the Tanaro valley to the east, but also the French part up to the Esterel Massif in the west. The boundary also takes into account the botanist E. Burnat who, with some co-workers, carried out geobotanical research in this area for over 40 years and left behind a comprehensive body of work. The work shown here is more modest and makes no claim to completeness. It presents an attempt to give an overview of the flora of the Alpes Maritimes in the compact, synthetic form of a database enriched with photographs.
