Abstract: Mycophylogeny provides online access to the results of phylogenetic studies on fungi. It is conceived to offer the possibility of long-term storage for phylogenetic trees to mycologists. A web interface for the online submission of data is currently under construction. MYCOPHYLOGENY aims to facilitate the establishment of well-supported phylogenic hypotheses for the Mycobionta, as well as the evaluation of the various kinds of methodological approaches, by providing results from phylogenetic analyses of the various fungal groups. Submitted phylogenetic tree data will be accepted only when accompanied by details about the methodological parameters applied. Furthermore, the analysed alignments need to consist exclusively of reliable alignable positions and to comprise only sequences that contain a maximum of 2% of ambiguous positions, including gaps.
