The vifabio Calendar of Conferences and Congresses provides an overview of the most important upcoming events in biology, in chronological order. Only larger conferences and congresses of several days' duration are considered. Please take advantage of the options on the right-hand side to refine the list of events.
Several RNA viruses constitute the majority of emerging and re-emerging pathogens, however, there is very little focus on research into the biology and pathogenesis of RNA viruses in India. Studies on epidemiology and disease burden, risk factors, the immune response to RNA viruses, circulating virus strains and virus evolution, animal models of disease, antivirals and vaccines are strikingly absent. Emerging RNA viruses such as Zika virus and Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever virus are a matter of grave concern to India. Therefore, this symposium will play a key role in bringing together national and international RNA virus experts from diverse areas on one platform to guide the future of RNA virus research in India. This symposium will provide impetus on laying a strong foundation for both the fundamental and translational aspects of RNA virus biology with a focus on epidemiology, immune response, virus evolution and vaccine trials. ... On behalf of the Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet) and organizing partners, it is our great honour to invite you to join the 17th International Conference On BioInformatics (InCOB-2018), which will be held on 26-28 September, 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Since 2002, InCoB has grown in its second decade to become one of the largest bioinformatics conferences in the Asia-Pacific region. This annual conference showcases the latest research and technologies in all areas of bioinformatics, and in recent years has been attended by practitioners from both biology fields and computing backgrounds in the Asia-Pacific region. As in the past, papers in the conference will be published in international, peer-reviewed journals, such as BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Systems Biology, BMC Genomics, Bioinformatics and PeerJ. Oral and poster presenters will have the opportunity to deposit their slides/posters with F1000 Posters. ... [Information of the supplier]
