Berücksichtigt werden nur größere, mehrtägige Veranstaltungen von nationaler und internationaler Bedeutung. Bitte benutzen Sie auch die Möglichkeiten zur Verfeinerung der Liste auf der rechten Seite.
The symposium aims at bringing together world-leading experts in the fields of mechanobiology, cell biology and developmental biology studying the mechanical basis of cell and tissue morphogenesis. Particular emphasis will be given to quantitative approaches analysing how force production, transduction and reception drive cell and tissue morphogenesis from the molecular scale to the organismal scale. The field is currently expanding rapidly and we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of both experimental and theoretical advances providing insight into the molecular, cellular and biophysical mechanisms by which cells, tissues and entire organisms take shape. ... We are pleased to inform you that the 44th FEBS Congress will be held in Krakow, Poland, from July 6th to July 11th, 2019. The theme of this year's Congress will be: "From molecules to living systems". The organizers, the Polish Biochemical Society and the Federation of the European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), are delighted to invite you to participate in the Congress. Poland will be hosting this prestigious event for the third time. Previous editions held in our country took place in 1966 and 2004. The upcoming event will be a chance to review the current trends for further development of biochemistry and related fields. The 44th FEBS Congress will take place at the modern ICE Congress Center, located in the very heart of Krakow. The 37 sessions will encompass 5 parallel sections as well as several poster sessions. Moreover, a specialized exhibition will also be organized. Plenary lectures will be delivered by eminent scientists representing various fields of molecular life sciences, who have already kindly confirmed their participation. Among them there are two Nobel Laureates: Andrew Z. Fire (Stanford) who will deliver the Opening Lecture and Venkatraman Ramakrishnan (Cambridge, UK) who will honor us with the Closing Lecture. In fact, the FEMS Congresses are the only scientific meetings at European level providing a unique forum for interdisciplinary dialogue and discussion between all microbiological specialties ranging from basic research to applied and across all sectors – academic, policy, business, educational, and communications. The Congress aims to inspire scientists by providing a unique forum for interdisciplinary collaboration and discussion at both the European and international level. ... [Information of the supplier]
We are pleased to announce that Rhizosphere 5, the fifth in a series of international conferences devoted to the study of the rhizosphere, will take place in July 2019 and will be hosted by the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. Rhizosphere 5 builds on past successes of the Rhizosphere conferences held in Munich (2004), Montpellier (2007), Perth (2011), and Maastricht (2015); and is the first in the series to be held in North America. The general theme for the conference is "shining light on the plant-root-soil interface". As with the previous conferences, Rhizosphere 5 will provide a multidisciplinary forum for exchanging innovative ideas and methods for studying the rhizosphere and understanding its complexity and its role in both natural and agricultural ecosystem processes. The conference provides a stage for both young and established scientists to present their work to a welcoming international audience. ... [Information of the supplier]
This symposium will cover a broad range of topics in microbiology, including antibiotic-related research, bacterial communities and microbiome, cell biology, regulation & signalling, pathogenesis and evolution. Emphasis will be placed on novel approaches and technologies (from systems-based to single-cell) that drive each field or have the potential to revolutionise future research in microbiology. This symposium aims at bridging the gap between traditional microbiology and novel technologies, by exposing microbiologists to new ways of addressing their hypotheses. At the same time, it provides a platform for systems or technology experts to get a better understanding of the important questions in the field. ... [Information of the supplier]
